Dashboard

It’s not Periscope’s Dashboard – it’s yours. Your Dashboard is a lightning overview of your working life… your schedule, your projects, your messages and tasks.

At the top of the screen you’ll see your avatar, your name, today’s date and the number of messages and tasks awaiting your attention.

On the top right of screen you’ll see two quick search bars – one for Projects and one for contacts. As you type each character of your search Periscope will narrow the options and suggest what you may be looking for. Clicking on any result will take you directly to it.

Admin

More about the admin button here.

Logout

The Logout button logs you out of Periscope – no surprises there!

Schedule

If you subscribe to the Schedule module then at the top of the page you’ll see the Projects you’re scheduled to work on over the next 4 weeks. The Schedule area also lets you know where you’re double booked and where you have capacity.

Projects

By default Periscope displays recently started (in progress) projects. You Alternatively you can choose to view all the projects you are currently the owner of – My Projects. Or the 5 most recently created projects – Newly created.

Messages

Any messages that have been left in Periscope – either by you or by other Periscope users can be found here. Click on the subject to go to the message within the Project to which they apply. Mark messages as read by clicking on the pink ‘Unread’ button.

Tasks

Tasks are simply Periscope’s name for smaller jobs within projects. The task will have been allocated for your attention ¬– either by you or by another Periscope user within your organization. If you click through the task title you can mark it as complete or edit it – changing the deadline or changing the owner to someone else on your team.
